Single Soldiers come home feeling alone!

Our Single Soldiers come home to an empty barracks room after a year-long deployment overseas.    With YOUR support, we can make this homecoming a memorable one for these Soldiers!

Hugs for Soldiers would like to add a little cheer to the rooms of these Single Soldiers with "Welcome Home" Hero Bags and small "Welcome Home" posters.  This is a tremendous opportunity for everyone to make a difference and to honor our Soldiers who have served overseas.

The Hero Bags will be decorated in a patriotic theme and filled with personal care items and snacks to get them through the first couple of days.  Monetary donations are also appreciated and will be used to purchase items that are not received.  You may send a tax-deductible check to:

Razor & Shaving Cream (travel size)

Body Wash & Nylon Scrubbie

Kleenex (travel size)

Female Hygiene Items (travel size)

Bath Towel and Washcloth

Snacks:

Granola Bar, Power Bar or Trail Mix

Peanut Butter or Cheese Crackers

Small Package of Cookies

Microwavable Food Items (non-perishable foods)

Candy Bar

Microwave Popcorn

Bottled Water

Other:  LOTS of homemade or purchased "thank you" cards and small "Welcome Home" posters (8 1/2 x 11").  You are invited to add an email or mailing address on the back of your cards and posters so the Soldiers will know who sent them "Welcome Home" wishes.
