Your Donation Helps Support Our Troops

HUGS FOR SOLDIERS relies solely on the generosity of the general public and provides a link between the American people and military personnel. Donations are used for Care Package items or to pay shipping costs. At roughly $1.25 a pound, shipping costs are the program’s largest expense. Your contribution, small or large, can increase the quality of life and morale of deployed Soldiers.

Many of our troops are living without the basic comforts of home. Some of the units do not have electricity, running water or mess halls. Their living conditions are such that 25-30 Soldiers are bunking in large tents, sleeping on cots, and do not have much personal space. Others live at outposts for weeks at a time and cannot shower until they return to base and their daily meals consists of MRE's. So, the Care Package, letter or card they receive from you, by donating to HUGS FOR SOLDIERS, will certainly brighten their day!

Your donation will help HUGS FOR SOLDIERS continue to put a smile on a Soldier's face at "Mail Call". Thanks for helping us in our mission to ensure that no Soldier is forgotten.
