"Christmas for a K-9 Soldier"
Hugs for Soldiers is supporting Military Police units in Afghanistan. To show our love and appreciation for our four-legged troops, we are collecting items to be shipped along with the "Christmas for a Soldier" care packages. The dogs help guard bases, search for explosives and perform many other vital functions. These troops are brave, courageous, loyal, dedicated to duty and provide a great service to our country.
Care package items may include:
Healthy snacks and treats such as dog biscuits and jerky strips
Rope and hard rubber toys
Treats must be in original manufacturer's packaging and under 1.5 pounds for ease in shipping. You may include a card or letter of appreciation. Create and decorate your own "Holiday Doggie Gift Bag" out of a brown paper lunch bag. Please no glitter!
