Chaplain Support Team

One of our greatest blessings is working with the Military Chaplains and Chaplain Assistants who provide support and comfort to deployed combat units.  The Chaplains perform their duties in a non-denominational capacity.  Always present with their Soldiers in war and peace, their love of God, Country and the American Soldier has been a beacon of light and a message of hope for all those who have served our nation.

As the Chaplain Unit Ministry Teams visit our military service members in remote locations, they can reach those Soldiers who may feel isolated and lonely, in need of a morale boost.  Our goal is to provide direct support to the Chaplains who request items related to their mission.  We can provide cards and letters of support that the Chaplains can easily distribute letting our Soldiers know that we appreciate their service and incredible sacrifice in protecting our freedoms.

Items requested by a Chaplain in Afghanistan who is over 900 Soldiers ~  many who are in remote areas and have no amenities.

Razors (3 blades or more)

Shaving Gel in tubes (no aerosols can be shipped through the postal service)

Deodorant

Body Wash

Shampoo

Toothbrushes

Toothpaste

Female Hygiene Products

Baby Wipes

Medicated or Maximum Strength Foot Powder

Moleskin and Molefoam

Other Items:  Washcloths, Towels, Socks (white or military green boot socks), Movies, Ramen Noodle Soup and Cup-a-Soup, Cards & Letters, PRAYERS!

This is a great project for a youth group, classroom, community organizations or church.
